While working on Stitch, I couldn’t help but get started on another piece. Want to guess who I painted next!? I’ll give you three wishes… I mean guesses.
Genie, like stitch, is a combination of some of my favorite colors. I’m a big fan of blue. I love the way that I capture the shades of Genie’s bracelets and waist color. It really adds for an extra splash throughout the painting!
Be sure to take a closer look at the layering on this piece below! I wanted to add the Genie’s lamp into the piece just to create some more contrast. This piece is magic and so is the process! ! Using a style that has truly become my own, I’m able to layer paints over and over, in the process forming shapes and depths to create a beautiful piece over time.
